hahahaha, I'm behind on my wrapping, I suppose I could do that and give myself a present.
I'd better practice acting surprised...

They, uh...stop. Haven't really tested them out too much, only got them bedded in then a few short trips here and there. Feels like less pedal effort is required to stop the car now, probably getting more brake torque from the larger rotors. The real test will be to see how they perform on-track w/ some better pads installed. Cooling kit is en-route as well...

Yeah, kind of difficult to put them to the test on the street... What diameter are the rotors? Are they 14's?

Yes, 14s (355mm). Up 1" from the stock 13-inchers. Will test them out on-track in February

I'd be interested to know how they work in conjuction with the PITA ABS system. My Wilwood's seem to trip the ABS a bit more than the stockers did on the street. However on the track with the R1's it's silky smooth.

I'm typically not braking hard enough on the street to set off the ABS...I guess I could look into it in an effort to get my "lap times" on the way to/from work down some...

Bumpy patches under braking on the street and random brake checks are what set off my ABS.
Gently rolling to a stop at a stop light doens't trip it.

Does this mean an FR500C ABS HCU is in your future?
RIP Money

I am thinking about a boat anchor, for those emergency situations.
