more power for an auto
what's up people! my wife wants more power for her teggy and I really, really don't want to check on hondatech, too many threads to search. so i thought i can start one here, would be a little easier. it's a 94 LS and I know their are tons of options, but really we want to go for the torque. b20 was the first on the list, but then i'm sure we'd need a new tranny to go along with that. so turbo was next, with maybe a top end rebuild. it's got 190xxx or so miles on it and she just wants it to go faster. what do you guys think of the ls-r mod? We don't want to spend like 2g's or maybe even 1, so give me some good options. I'm not well educated on hondas so edumacate me please!

I know a tuner thats cheap and will work with ya......is your ECU chipped??
on an AUTO its hard......b20 will work with your tranny.....
do you have i/h/e??

yeah my wife wanted to go B20, I just heard the cops are cracking down on modded hondas with swaps. shouldn't be too hard to keep looking stock. she has intake and exhaust, no headers. who's your tuner?

in cali they crack down hard...not in AZ unless you hanging with the wrong crowd or get busted racing....lol
BBN for easy set ups, street cars, bolt on's etc etc......for lots of power set up I've trusted LoCash...

not when its a honduh due to the high level of theft of acuras and issh for there DOHC motor vs the civic's SOHC.....
Lots of motors from japan with no vin#'s etc etc.....
the mann is cracking down!!
REASON I STAY SOHC!!
AZ is not that big of an issue but Cali is....even if you are visiting from AZ...

Look, I kow it's a simplistic semi-answer, but the California population needs to throw those political bastards out. It can be done, and the average age of the population is always going down.

I had no idea that motors HAD to have a VIN# on them... I would have to think that you could fight that somehow... I'm not condoning theft, just idiot bashing.

Take a nice digital photo of the existing VIN, grind off said number (neatly), go to Harbor Freight, buy some cheap number punches and play with your favorite number (something appropriate with Honda's numbering system) and stamp away.
You're not involved with a multi-national engine swap conspiracy.

Haha! you could do that, but yes it is getting horrible out here. that's why i just want to either turbo her car or just build it. not sure yet, but we'll see. it was real bad back in the day when you would get a fix it ticket for being lowered, or having exhaust. stupid.
